Amy Marion, Director of Public Safety/B2B Solutions at RapidSOS, brings over 25 years of experience in 911 and public safety, spanning operations, administration, technology, and legislative initiatives. Since joining RapidSOS in 2019, Amy has held multiple roles, supporting public safety efforts across the U.S. and Canada. In her current role, she serves as a subject matter expert, bridging the gap between public safety and business-to-business solutions, with a focus on 911 and emerging technologies.

Amy is deeply involved in the public safety community, actively participating in state, national, and international organizations. She holds positions on the International APCO Commercial Advisory Council, the IL APCO Executive Board, the Illinois Public Safety Telecommunications Association (IPSTA) Conference Executive Board, and the Illinois Joint APCO/NENA Legislative Committee.

On a personal level, Amy is a law enforcement spouse, married to a retired municipal police chief, now serving as a campus police chief. She is also a law enforcement and military mom. Her personal and professional experiences drive her passion for advocating for new technologies, strengthening the connection between 911 services and school safety, and promoting the mental and physical health and wellness of first responders and their families.
